Halloween Haunted History tour!
The Tour is designed not only for those interested in chilling tales of the ghosts within St. Paul’s old homes and buildings, but for those intrigued by the rich history of Minnesota's capitol city. You'll learn about many colorful characters from St. Paul's past, some of whom may still walk among us.
"The Haunted History tour is pure genius" a local celebrity exclaims. "Rob kept us on the edge of our seat"
Your "Haunted History Tour" begins at Forepaugh's, a restaurant in a restored Victorian home in St. Paul's oldest neighborhood, Irvine Park. You'll hear the story of Joseph Forepaugh and his paramour, Molly, as well as the ways in which Molly still makes her presence known. From there, you'll travel through downtown Saint Paul, around the capitol and up Summit avenue, along the way learning of the gin-swilling gangster who rides the elevator at Landmark Center, the man in the straw hat at City Hall, and the stagehand who haunts the Fitzgerald Theatre, among many others. Before the evening ends, You'll even be able to walk among the mansions of Summit Avenue and hear stories of the spirits who dwell there, including the boy on the banister.
The tour guide rides with you in the limousine, telling the stories while giving historical background. The tour can be designed for groups of 2 to 25 with limousines ranging from 6 passenger up to 25 passenger limobus. The tour is available year around. Additionally, we offer a special tour, which allows you to join with others, on the Sunday before Halloween, October 25th. Seats are available for $39 plus tip per person for the 7:00 PM tour.
